Senior leftfielder Catherine Davie (Westlake Village, Calif./Westlake HS) and freshman second baseman Kelsey Kollen (Cerritos, Calif./Mater Dei HS) were both named to the NFCA All-America Second Team while senior first baseman Traci Conrad (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way HS) was selected for NFCA All-America Third-Team honors.

Davie, who earns her first All-America citation, scored a Michigan single-season record 64 runs while leading the offense with a .407 batting average and 54 RBIs. Davie hit .350 over her four-year U-M career and set the school and Big Ten Conference record for doubles (61). She ranks among the top five alltime in six Wolverine career statistical categories -- at-bats, runs, hits, doubles, home runs and RBIs. Davie was also an All-Big Ten and All-Great Lakes Region First-Team selection.

Kollen becomes the second Michigan freshman to be awarded NFCA All-America honors with her selection to the second team. She completed the season with a .376 batting average -- third-best among the Wolverines -- behind a team-leading 89 hits. Kollen set the Michigan single-season at-bats (237) record, and places among the top five in two other U-M season statistical record lists (runs, hits). Selected the Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Year, Kollen was also tabbed All-Big Ten and All-Great Lakes Region First-Team.

With her NFCA All-America Third-Team citation, Conrad becomes one of two Michigan players to be selected three times to the All-America teams (Sara Griffin: 1995, '96, '98). Conrad was a member of the national first team in both 1997 and 1998. The Big Ten Player of the Year and a member of the conference and Great Lakes region first teams, Conrad graduates with the Michigan and Big Ten career runs (223) and hits (345) records. The alltime leading hitter in Wolverine history (.389), Conrad also holds the U-M at-bats record and ranks among the career top five in four other statistical categories (doubles, RBIs, walks, stolen bases).

The latest three All-Americans bring Michigan's total number of All-America citations to 19, including 13 over the past five seasons.
