SOME FAVORITE ADVENTURES:
Rafting down the Colorado River rapids, through the bottom of the Grand Canyon, from Phantom Ranch to Lake Mead
Horeback riding down into, and then exploring, the Havasupai Indian Reservation at the bottom of Havasupai Canyon in Arizona. Swimming in the travertine pools and waterfalls of Havasupai Creek.
Backpacking twice to Hamilton Lake, in the High Sierra mountains (near Sequoia National Park). First with wife Betty, and Betty's sister Dode and her husband Emil Radics. Second, many years later with son Bob and Bob's friend Mark Wegner.
A camera safari in Kenya and Tanzania, Africa, including the Ngorgoro crater.
